LIVE VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

Put Your Values to Work

A Practical Workshop for Human-Centered Leadership

A live human-centered leadership workshop for managers and mission-driven leaders who want to put their values into practice. Learn practical ways to share power, build trust, strengthen accountability, and lead through difficult situations.

Your surroundings don't always support how you want to lead.

→You believe in collaboration, but you're constantly racing against the clock.

→ You believe in transparency, but information can't be shared until a decision has been made.

→ You believe in caring about people, but you have to follow strict business procedures.

→ You believe in sharing power, but everyone expects decisions to be made through the chain of command.

Human-Centered Leadership

...is rooted in the belief that our workplaces should be designed to support the humans doing the work, instead of requiring people to fit themselves into systems that unnecessarily limit their agency, power, and choice.

It means creating the conditions for people to contribute fully while recognizing that they are human beings first. The goal is to build structures and practices that make room for both our humanity and our ability to accomplish meaningful work together.

In this workshop, you'll:

Clarify Your Leadership Philosophy

Get clearer about the kind of leader you want to be, what you believe about people and power, and the values you want to guide how you lead.

Align Your Leadership Practices

Turn your values into specific practices you can use in your day-to-day managing moments. And learn how to lead with intention even when your values are tested.

Connect With Heart-Centered Leaders

Build relationships with other leaders who care deeply about people and impact—and who want to practice a different way of leading alongside you.

Get introduced to a new leadership framework:
Living Into Liberatory Management™

You want the people you lead to feel trusted, respected, and able to contribute fully.
You want to navigate hard conversations, competing priorities, mistakes, and imperfect choices without becoming the kind of manager you never wanted to be.

Meet Your Facilitator

Hi, I'm Elsa.

I created Living Into Liberatory ManagementTM because I believe we can lead in ways that are both deeply human and effective.

For years, I’ve worked alongside leaders and teams trying to live out values like equity, care, belonging, and justice. And I’ve seen how hard it can be to hold onto those values when you’re also managing deadlines, making difficult decisions, navigating conflict, and trying to keep an organization moving forward.

That’s what led me to this work.

I’m a culture strategist, leadership coach, and founder of Relational Notions. I help mission-driven leaders bring more humanity and care into the way they lead and the systems they have the power to shape.

I don’t believe there’s one perfect way to lead. But I do believe we can become more intentional about how we use our power, how we treat people, and what we make possible for those around us.

I genuinely hope that here, you'll find the space and community you didn't know you needed.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly will be taught in this workshop?

You’ll learn the Living Into Liberatory Management™ framework, which is a practical framework for leaders who want the way they manage to better reflect what they believe. It explores how we can use our power differently, take people's humanity seriously, share responsibility, practice meaningful accountability, and still get important work done.

We’ll explore the five pillars of the framework: Radical Transparency, Holistic Humanity, Co-Creative Impact, Empathetic Resilience, and Brave Accountability. Using them as a guide, you’ll learn how to work through difficult leadership moments when there isn’t a clear answer. "Living into” liberatory management isn’t about leading perfectly or following a set of rules. It’s about learning how to make thoughtful choices that reflect your values, especially when leadership gets complicated.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for managers, supervisors, and leaders who care deeply about people and the impact of their work—but who also sometimes feel pulled between what they stand for and how they're expected to lead. You don't need a certain title or level of authority. If you lead people or you have a part in what happens inside your organization, there's something here for you.

Is this workshop only for nonprofit or mission-driven organizations?

The workshop was created with mission-driven leaders in mind, including people working in nonprofits, public agencies, social impact organizations, and other values-driven environments. That said, the practices can be useful to anyone who wants to bring more humanity, intention, and shared power into how they lead.

Is this mostly theory, or will I learn things I can actually use?

This is a practice-focused workshop. We'll explore the ideas behind Living Into Liberatory Management™, but we'll also spend time applying those ideas into common management situations.

You'll receive the Living Into Liberatory Management Practice Guide with tools and practices you can continue experimenting with long after the workshop.

Will I be expected to share personal experiences?

You'll be invited to reflect, participate, and learn alongside other leaders, but you won't be expected to share anything you aren't comfortable sharing.
